    Global Startup Events Terms and Conditions

    We are looking for the most promising startups from Türkiye to participate in international startup events — Web Summit Lisbon 2025, Slush 2025, CES 2026, and Web Summit Qatar 2026 — to help them expand their businesses in global markets.

    General Eligibility Criteria

    If your startup; 

    • is registered in Türkiye and still active

    • is targeting global markets with a sound strategy 

    • meets the criteria of related event(s)

    The deadline for application is 01.07.2025 Tuesday (17:00, Istanbul Time Zone GMT+3)

     

    Please prepare and submit a 90-second video in English where you and your team members showcase your startup and product. Before filling out the form, make sure your video is ready. If the video exceeds 90 seconds, only the first 90-seconds will be considered.

    Scope of the Support and Events' Criteria 

    • Selected startups will be responsible for covering all other expenses not included in the scope of the support listed below. 

    • Selected startups  are also required to apply to and be approved by the relevant event organizer.

    • Any startup that has previously attended Web Summit Lisbon, Slush, CES, or Web Summit Qatar with the support of Development Agencies is not eligible to attend the same event a second time under this support but may apply to participate in other events.

    • However, under certain conditions — such as an insufficient number of eligible startups due to visa issues or other challenges — a startup may be reconsidered and invited to attend the same event again.

    Please find the scope of the support and the conditions for the events below.

    1. Web Summit Lisbon (NOV 10-13, 2025): https://websummit.com/

    Scope of the Support: 

    • 1 booth only for 1 day exhibition during the event

    • 3 tickets for ALPHA, 4 tickets for BETA startups for opening ceremony & 3-day event

    Startup Criteria:

    • The startup can have raised no more than US$1 million to qualify for the ALPHA track in funding. 

    • The startup can have raised no more than US$5 million to qualify for the BETA track in funding.

    • Startup must be less than 5 years old.

    • At the time of application, the startup must at a minimum be launched and live with their own working website.

    • The startup must have their own unique software product or solutions or they must be working on their own connected hardware devices.

    • A startup already registered for the event is not eligible to participate as part of a startup island.

     2. Slush (NOV 19-20, 2025): https://slush.org/ 

    Scope of the Support: 

    • 1 booth only for half a day exhibition during the event

    • 2 tickets(for 2 people) for 2 day event

    Startup Criteria:

    • High level of investment readiness

    • Founded in or after 2018

    3. CES (JAN 6-9, 2026): https://www.ces.tech/

    Scope of the Support: 

    • 1 booth during the event

    • 2 tickets(for 2 people) for entrance

    • 1 room for accommodation

    Startup Criteria:

    Consumer Technology Association (CTA) defines a startup as a company in its early stages of operations, less than five years old, or launching its first product. CTA will consider the following factors when reviewing applications: 

    The technology displayed must be applicable to the consumer technology space.

    • The company’s product and/or service must not have shipped or been on the market prior to January 1, 2025. 

    • Technology displayed must be a prototype, product or service under own brand name(s).

    • No OEM/ODM, supplier, or component products. Crowdfunding campaigns, pre-orders and beta stage are allowed.  

    • Company has no known intellectual property conflicts. 

    • Product or service must be innovative with the potential to make a profound impact on the market. CTA reserves the right to approve or disapprove entries.

    4. Web Summit Qatar (FEB 1-4, 2026): https://qatar.websummit.com/ 

    Scope of the Support: 

    • 1 booth only for 1 day exhibition during the event

    • 3 tickets for ALPHA, 4 tickets for BETA startups for opening ceremony & 3-day event

    • 1 room for accommodation (to be provided by Web Summit)
